#129 – How I Went From Stressed To Six Figures With B-School

Hey there! This is an awesome episode for me because I get to talk about where my business began – and where it is now.

Chances are, if you’ve been around the web, you’ve noticed that there’s a lot of buzz right now about B-School.

As a B-School affiliate partner (which means that I get a commission when someone signs up through my link), I wanted to take the time to tell you what all the hype is about.

Here’s Why I Really Promote B-School

I joined B-School after I’d run my first business for about a year.

At that time, my dreams of owning my own business in the health and wellness space were beginning to be shattered.

I was working really hard but wasn’t achieving any goals. Money was a constant worry for me.  It sounds terrible to admit, but I although I still cared about helping people live healthier lives, I was beginning to lose interest in my business.

The super embarrassing thing is that at that time, my husband-to-be, Robin, kept sending me some not-so-subtle hints: job postings. After a year of failed attempts, he was ready for me to put my dreams away and get a “real job” to stop being so miserable.

Down to the Last Dollar

B-School was a huge financial investment for me, especially since I’d started my business right out of college and was severely short on funds.

At the time I joined, I was down to the last dollar. The scary thing was that I didn’t know if Marie could help, or if it would simply be the end of my business.

I Discovered What Wasn’t Working … and What Was

But after going through the first part of the course, I was overjoyed to be receiving clear direction that I knew that I had to start implementing. Under the guidance of B-School, I realized that a lot of my problems came from not understanding my ideal clients.

After implementing what I’d learned, I began to change my business entirely, focusing on the stuff that was actually bringing results. For me, that was list building, marketing, and selling.

I Experienced 6-Figure Success

Like I said, the cost of attending Marie Forleo’s B-School made me nervous but I decided to take the risk.

That year, I got to 6 figures in income and built a tribe I was incredibly proud of.

I also didn’t have to run to my husband anymore every time I had a business question because I’d made connections in B-School that formed a very wonderful network of support.

Years later, my business experience is so much healthier than it was before B-School transformed my style.

Today, I wake up and get calls from people across the world who are eager to connect with my business.

A Practical, Nurturing Community

I got so much from attending B-School that Marie asked if I would be the go-to tech person. Recently I’ve stepped away from that role, though I loved being able to nurture the people who are so eager to learn what it takes to make a successful business.

They’re definitely a special group of people.

It’s truly a world-class, modern day business program that enables people to start and grow their business online.

And once you join, you get lifetime access.
