Thanks for the reminder about what we do, and don't control. I'm now a full time caregiver, so my Illusion of control, really is an illusion! lol! Such a different role - and so many of us are becoming caregivers. Yes, to it being a co-creation process. I'm working on what my intention is ... for me daily, and for the day. Thanks again for post. I have enjoyed following you for years. Back when you first met Robin. :-)

Thank you for taking the time to comment and being here all this time Robin! I hear you on the caregiving role and how that can be a stark reminder that we don't have as much control as we'd like over how our days go.

I'm cheering you on and giving you major kudos for the caregiving work you do, it's can be thankless but it is valuable and important!

I have operated my business for 11 years with the idea that I don't really have any control and really leave a lot of my success -- or lack thereof -- up to divine timing. I have a lot of ideas. The best I can do is offer them up. Some work. Some don't. I've learned not to take the ones that don't too personally. :) I'm currently working on building a substack audience. It's slow. And hard. While I would love to think I have control on the matter -- all I have control on is what I write and what I do. The rest is up to the universe.

I love the name of your substack publication - Braving YES! I also love that you've been operating with the clarity that there's a lot we don't control already. ;) It's amazing what can happen when we let it happen, even if it doesn't always match our expectations.

Honestly, the more I try to control the less successful I feel. Perhaps it's a coping mechanism but I have found that less expectations often means a greater feeling of contentment and enough for me. But, I still take risks and do fun things. That's just who I am as a creator, etc. THANK YOU for the kind words about my substack title!
